The convenient way to deposit a check

With Mobile Deposit, funds get sent digitally and securely, often providing access to your money the next business day. If you can take a photo, you can deposit checks from anywhere your day takes you. 

 

  • Download the Watertown Savings Bank app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Endorse your check as you normally would, adding the phrase: "For Mobile Deposit Only."
  • Tap "Deposit" on the dashboard of our digital banking app.
  • Enter the check amount and choose the account where the funds should go.
  • Using your smartphone or tablet camera, take photos of the check's front and back.
  • Click "Submit" to transmit your deposit.
  • You'll receive electronic confirmation that your deposit has been received.
 
 
Daily Deposit Limits
 
  • Mobile Deposit (personal) - Your daily deposit limit is $2,500 and up to 10 items per day. Monthly deposit limit is $10,000 and up to 20 items per month. 
  • Mobile Deposit (business) - Your daily deposit limit is $2,500 and up to 10 items per day. Monthly deposit limit is $10,000 and up to 25 items per month. Additional plans available, additional fees may apply.
