HSA & Club Accounts

Health Savings Account (HSA)       Health Savings Rates      Deluxe Check Reorder

A Health Savings Account (HSA) combines high deductible health insurance with a tax-favored savings account. Different from other benefit products, HSA’s roll over from year to year. There is no “use it or lose it”. Interest is paid, and it is owned by you, not your employer. Your HSA contributions can be used to pay for a wide range of eligible medical expenses not typically covered by low deductible health insurance or other healthcare accounts.

Some Uses for your HSA
  • Standard medical services such as office visits and annual medical physicals
  • Prescriptions, health care products and some over-the-counter medicines
  • Preventive and restorative dental care, as well as orthodontia for children and adults

When you open an account, you’ll receive a FREE Watertown Savings Bank HSA Visa debit card that makes it easy for you to pay for qualified medical expenses. You have online access to account transactions, so keeping tabs on your medical spending is easy. Plus, the contributions you make to your account are tax-deductible while your earnings and qualified withdrawals are tax-free.
